TYE-CAL MAX INGREDIENTS: Calcium Citrate, Magnesium Oxide, Vitamin D, Zinc, Thiamine, DMG, Potassium Phosphate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Boswellia Extract, Natural Vitamin E, Selenium*

Calcium Citrate (5,700 mg per scoop) and Magnesium Oxide (2,500 mg per scoop).
Equals the ideal elemental value of 1:1 ratio, and are mutually dependent. Therefore, these two elements should be administered at the same time. Magnesium governs the bio-availability and bioactivity of calcium. Deficiencies are likely on all un-supplemented diets for horses that exercise heavily. Magnesium helps absorb calcium, phosphorus, sodium and potassium. It is necessary for the B vitamins, especially thiamine, to be utilized. A deficiency interferes with the transmission of nerve and muscle impulses, causing nervousness. Magnesium is considered to be an anti-stress mineral. It functions to relax skeletal muscles, as well as the smooth muscle of blood vessels and the gastrointestinal tract.

Dicalcium Phosphate Granules (17,500 mg per scoop)
Provides calcium and phosphorus which may be lacking in an animal’s regular feed. The neutral Ph contributes to the buffering action to relieve upset stomach, and reduces lactic acid build-up. Dicalcium Phosphate is an ideal feed supplement because of its optimum Calcium:Phosphorus ratio of 1.3:1

Thiamine B-1 (1,000 mg per scoop)
Thiamine enhances circulation, and assists in blood formation. It is needed for muscle tone of the intestines, stomach and heart. Deficiency of Thiamine can present as laboured breathing, nervousness, weak and sore muscle.

DMG (1,500 mg per scoop)
Aids in maintenance of high energy levels, and improves oxygen utilization. Reduces lactic acid levels under extreme stress. Also decreases fatigue and cramping. Recovery is faster from racing and training.

Potassium Phosphate (1,000 mg per scoop)
Supplies the important electrolyte potassium and an abundance of phosphate.

Boswellia Extract (500 mg per scoop)
Boswellia may open up collateral blood circulation, thereby maintaining mobility, and reducing pain due to stiffness.

Vitamin E NATURAL (1,000 IUS per scoop)  and Selenium* (1 mg per scoop)
Performance horses need increased levels of Vitamin E and Selenium to minimize the delirious affects associated with stress. Supplementation is necessary for maintenance of muscle, and is suggested that race horses or performance horses obtain at least 2 mg of selenium daily. Deficiencies can result in ‘Tying Up’ symptoms. Vitamin E & Selenium are considered effective in treating and preventing re-occurrence of the disability.
