Dr Hansen's Formula 44 Ointment

• Formula 44 Ointment is an extremely versatile product that will become a staple your grooming box. Prepared in a true ointment base, this product will form a protective barrier over your horse’s damaged skin and prevent stall, pasture, and arena crud from re-entering the wound. This is an important quality that is often overlooked in equine products and one of the properties that makes Formula 44 Ointment stand out.

Formula 44 Ointment is recommended for stubborn equine skin conditions on the body and especially legs. This product is best suited for treatment of scratches, rain rot, dermatitis, cannon crud, pastern crud, fungus, cuts, scrapes and even dry, flaky skin.

Formula 44 Ointment contains chlorhexidine and a proprietary blend of ingredients that will moisturize and soothe to promote re-growth of healthy tissue.

Shipping

Online orders are typically processed within 1–5 business days, Monday–Friday. Shipping times begin after your order has been processed.

Most orders are shipped using Canada Post, UPS, or Purolator. Oversized, overweight, or specialty items may require additional shipping charges or a freight quote.

Because our online inventory is pulled directly from our live sales floor, an item may occasionally sell before your order is processed. If this happens, we’ll contact you with available options. If we don’t receive a response, the unavailable item will be refunded and the remainder of your order will be shipped.

Returns & Exchanges

Online purchases may be returned within 14 days for a refund or within 30 days for an exchange or in-store credit, provided the item is:

• In brand-new, unused condition
• Returned with all original tags, packaging, labels, and instructions
• Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. If we sent you the wrong item or your product arrived defective, Irvine Tack & Western Wear will cover the applicable shipping costs.

Final return restrictions apply to certain products, including bits, ropes, animal health products, feed, and undergarments.

Saddles: Eligible for exchange or in-store credit only within 7 days and must be returned in brand-new condition.
